Don't look to hard

I tried my hardest to Scrapbook on Sunday, we only had one of our children and my husband was suppose to be keeping Coop busy, it didn't go to plan. I felt rushed, I kept measuring things wrong, cutting paper in the wrong spot and needless to say my layout is smaller than a A4, so don't look to hard...

I think I'm going to have to go to a scrap night somewhere.

Sleep times are the Hardest!

Well the dummy is gone and has been for two days now. He is still upset about it but only at sleep time and in the car. He woke nearly every hour or so last night and has just taken 45minutes of screaming (him and I) to get him to sleep. He seems to have a little head cold, which isn't helping.
All the mums I talk to say it takes about 5 - 7 days and they forget all about it.
But I can tell you if I actually had a dummy in the house I would of caved and gave it to him today!

Goodbye Dummy (we hope:)

I am slowling cutting a peice off the tip of the dummy whenever he's not looking...
He's on to me and keeps questioning why his dummy looks like it does.
It's a big step for both of us.
Wish us luck...

Starting to Pay off!

My son (the eldest of course) is impressing me beyond my imagination.
We went camping on the weekend, came back yesterday afternoon, busy unloading everything, washing sand drenched clothes etc and cleaning our car that has just as much sand etc inside and out. I thought I might mow our lawn (I do enjoy it) when Jayden asked his dad or should I say begged him to let him mow, needless to say he mowed the whole lawn, with me trying to steal the mower off him.
And to top it off he shouted us dinner with his $20 Red Rooster voucher he won for being the most valuable player for soccer for the season.
Good on you Jayden and thanks for Dinner...lov'in your work.

Finally a few nights ago I got time to scrapbook, I spent most of that time, writing, typing and working out how to use text box.

I've already got my trusty little journal ready with some more stories and ideas, I just need abit spare time to so some scraping done.

Raising Girls!

Miss Cayla has had alot of problems with girls at school this year, it seems her year level, has only 15 girls in totall and there seems to be abit of a gang going on, Ten girls stick together one is the leader and says weather or not you can play, well Cayla doesn't want to play with all of them she just asks to play with one and the leader says she can't so every day, she plays with no one.
I said to her the normal stuff (don't worry about them, your awesome they realise that one day).
Then i asked why do you think they wont let you play, and she said
"um maybe they think I don't look nice mum"
That just broke my heart at only 6 years old and she feels Ugly.
I told her maybe they think she's too beautiful, because I think she is gorgeous.
Raising girls is going to be harder emotionally then the boys.

Morning tea

How nice we had a little tea party!

Homemade Go Karts...

Jas promised Jayden that the two of them would build there own go Kart together.

Our neighbours made one, but with mower wheels, needless to say theres didn't go very fast.

So we made ours with Pram wheels, Ours goes very fast, so fast in fact we needed to modify it and put some brakes on (Jayden took a fair bit of skin off alot of his little body..ouch)

I'm not to keen on the whole Go Kart thing.
