Layout "you at Nine"

I did this page a month ago, for some reason my scanner is only scanning half the page, so it's taken me this long to download it from my camera.
Jayden did not agree with the last one "back chatting and arguing" of course he wouldn't.
I've done alot more lately which is great I'll see if I get time to update my blog my frequentely

Hard Yakka!

Everytime we ask Coop to smile this is the look we get, normally with out that much dirt.

But on this particular day he was busy in the yard, very busy in fact. He hoped on his little bike with trailer filled it with dirt and delivered it to two different neighbours.

Cayla wins a Dance Trophy

How exciting, Cayla won a trophy at her concert on Sunday they work all year for this event. It is very rare to get a trophy only a few are handed out amongst alot of girls and a few boys.

Cayla is pictured here in her HIp Hop outfit, she also does Jazz.

It's called a encouragement award for students that have shown improvement and are trying really hard.

Good on you Cayla!

Cayla's class made for school

How cute is this everyone had

to put there photo on a cartoon like figure and then on a paddle pop stick, I thought they looked just adorable.

Cayla also played Mary today at church very exciting.

Happy Birthday Jayden! look how he's grown

I had to post some baby photos of Jayden as he's such a skinny winny and has been for ages that no one and I mean no one not even family remembered that he was a chubby bub.

I hope your dreams come true Jayden and you enjoy being 9.

Can anyone see how much Jay and Coop look alike in that absoulutely beautiful photo of a precious boy smiling his best smile. How funny is it that Coop does the exact same smile.

I'm Loving my boys.

Some photos from Rainbow Beach

I have a few hundred to go threw, but these are a couple I just love. The kids had so much fun collecting the coloured sand and running up the dunes.

I really love how Jayden gives Coop piggy backs every where, one it saves me chasing him or carrying him myself and two how cute are they.

Coop really does love him :)

Don't look to hard

I tried my hardest to Scrapbook on Sunday, we only had one of our children and my husband was suppose to be keeping Coop busy, it didn't go to plan. I felt rushed, I kept measuring things wrong, cutting paper in the wrong spot and needless to say my layout is smaller than a A4, so don't look to hard...

I think I'm going to have to go to a scrap night somewhere.

Sleep times are the Hardest!

Well the dummy is gone and has been for two days now. He is still upset about it but only at sleep time and in the car. He woke nearly every hour or so last night and has just taken 45minutes of screaming (him and I) to get him to sleep. He seems to have a little head cold, which isn't helping.
All the mums I talk to say it takes about 5 - 7 days and they forget all about it.
But I can tell you if I actually had a dummy in the house I would of caved and gave it to him today!

Goodbye Dummy (we hope:)

I am slowling cutting a peice off the tip of the dummy whenever he's not looking...
He's on to me and keeps questioning why his dummy looks like it does.
It's a big step for both of us.
Wish us luck...

Starting to Pay off!

My son (the eldest of course) is impressing me beyond my imagination.
We went camping on the weekend, came back yesterday afternoon, busy unloading everything, washing sand drenched clothes etc and cleaning our car that has just as much sand etc inside and out. I thought I might mow our lawn (I do enjoy it) when Jayden asked his dad or should I say begged him to let him mow, needless to say he mowed the whole lawn, with me trying to steal the mower off him.
And to top it off he shouted us dinner with his $20 Red Rooster voucher he won for being the most valuable player for soccer for the season.
Good on you Jayden and thanks for Dinner...lov'in your work.

I've already got my trusty little journal ready with some more stories and ideas, I just need abit spare time to so some scraping done.

She seems to be a little natural.
Schools going well so far. I've been in bed all day again yesterday, tummy bug spews etc...
Thought I was going to die of course. Feeling heaps better today, it must of been a tummy bug.
We Went to playgroup Coop had such a awesome time, so did I. I talked all the mums ears off of course.

Raising Girls!

Miss Cayla has had alot of problems with girls at school this year, it seems her year level, has only 15 girls in totall and there seems to be abit of a gang going on, Ten girls stick together one is the leader and says weather or not you can play, well Cayla doesn't want to play with all of them she just asks to play with one and the leader says she can't so every day, she plays with no one.
I said to her the normal stuff (don't worry about them, your awesome they realise that one day).
Then i asked why do you think they wont let you play, and she said
"um maybe they think I don't look nice mum"
That just broke my heart at only 6 years old and she feels Ugly.
I told her maybe they think she's too beautiful, because I think she is gorgeous.
Raising girls is going to be harder emotionally then the boys.

Morning tea

How nice we had a little tea party!

Homemade Go Karts...

Jas promised Jayden that the two of them would build there own go Kart together.

Our neighbours made one, but with mower wheels, needless to say theres didn't go very fast.

So we made ours with Pram wheels, Ours goes very fast, so fast in fact we needed to modify it and put some brakes on (Jayden took a fair bit of skin off alot of his little body..ouch)

I'm not to keen on the whole Go Kart thing.

Christmas is coming

I am trying to contain myself, and I feel I'm doing a good job at it...
Normally I have the chrissy carols playing in the car by now and have this gentle excitment within, but by the time chrissy comes I'm all caroled out and it doesn't feel as special as I had anticipated.
This year I'm trying hard to wait to bring out those carols. But the shops aren't helping by having trees etc up.
I hope I'm not the only one that loves her carols abit too early.

Awwh Look how cute they were...

Dylan and Jayden, loved and still do love dress ups and spiderman, they were and are best little buddies, it didn't seem that long ago, but as Jayden is nearly turning 9 it must of been. And how adorable is my little Miss Cayla, she's a giant now as well!
big sigh!!

It must also mean I too am getting old.

Sickness when will it Stop!

I thought a few posts ago that I said we were all to be healthy and well, seeing we had our fair share of sickness.

It wasn't to be, it never is untill Mum get sicks, which 0f course is bound to happen seeing your the one looking after all the little ones whilst there sick.

Needless to say I've had no voice for nearlly a week, which has been very hard for me to deal with, and I was in bed for three days, crossing my fingers that I'm on the mend and we are all going to be well from now on.

I of course have had no time to do a layout as promised but thought I'd put a older one on.

It's A Boy!

Baby Oscar Goodall was born on Monday the 22nd 9Pound 1. I don't know how that little framed Kim can produce such big babies, anyway he's just absolutely perfect.
He's headed home today and his big sisters I'm sure are over the moon. Sorry no photo, I've been sick and still not functioning fully yet.
WELCOME HOME OSCAR AND KIM!

Happy Fathers Day!

Firstly I think Jas liked his presents, you never do really get big reactions from men anyway do you? I'm booking him and his dad on a Storey Bridge walk, I am too chicken to go with them.

We went down to the coast yesterday, we all had a great time, Coop terrorised us all, as he does very well at the moment. I've got some great nudey photos of him on the beach I'll save for his 21st.

I Scrapbooked

I tried to last night, but Coop had his special radar out on me and of course wouldn't go to sleep because he knew I wanted to do something special, every other night he goes to sleep. (we wont mention he had asthma and has had abit of a cold).

I went on to one

of my favourtie blogs for some inspirationa and thought I'd copy her layout using the paper I already had in mind for this one, bad photo of the layout I know, I still have to sort my camera out, but untill then I am using the big zoom lens.

Shopping

Met MF Rach today had a awesome catch up with her. Wanted to take Miss Aria home with me she is even more adorable in real life. Bought my lovely husband a birthday present, how hard are men to buy for. Us girls we at least say "I want a new Camera make and model". Somehow they translate that into hmmm I might buy her some PJ's.
Anyway I hope I've done ok. I'll post tomorrow and let you know if my pressies were passable.

Today is the day I start my Blog

I can't beleive it's been over a year since I first opened this blog. I am now ready I think to post my weekly events and ravlings, to anyone that is interested.

I hopefully may have a layout a week to post on here, maybe not to start with as my camera lens is broken, I have a good friend that informed me were to get it fixed, Must do that.

My friend Kim is due in two weeks, which in her terms and any other women at 38weeks is any day now, hope to meet your new little one soon.

I am hoping for a house full of healthy people over the next few months, as we've had our fair share of sickness heres a photo of Miss Cayla at her worst last week when she had three days off school.
