Wow I haven't blogged for a very long time, maybe it's time to start again.

We recently had Cayla's 9th Birthday Party and had a bird theme.

As she loves birds at the moment. We had birdie cupcakes, bird nests with eggs. And every girl got to create there own bird themed canvas to take home.

It was a fantastic day. The girls especially loved the little milk bottles.

Christmas time is coming!

Only 4.5 days left of school, and I have so much to do, like so many of us, there is never enough time.
Just a quick update in the life of Mandy.
We have purchased one new family member a puppy called "Rex", now he's not fitting in as easily as the rest would of liked, I was not keen on a dog of any sorts, nether the less we have one, it is like having a new born baby, he yelps, cryings and wants someone with in sight at all times, not to mention the early morning wake up call from our little Rex.
I have threatened to take him back to the shop, but little Coop just crys and says no mummy don't take my puppy away. If only they both weren't so cute.
We are busily finishing our house off, we've been here two years, and lets just say a typical builders house is never finished. But we are trying, and that's progress.
Jayden turned 10, double didgets, he's growing up to fast, hope he always loves and respects his mum.
Cayla is adorable most the time, however she seems to be my lazy child, and has also lost hearing in her ears, due to mum asking her to do jobs.
I hope everyone has a great chrissy break, and a safe christmas. I'm hoping to post some photos when I get my new computer sorted out:)

Scrapbook Creations Issue 71

It's been along time since I've sent my layouts off and had them published, I was excited to have this layout published in the current issue. Unfortunately the magazine did not take care when photographing it and the letter "e" had dropped and they left it like that, I was disappointed with the magazine for not presenting my layout as it should of been.

This is how it should look.

I have a lot of photos to print etc, from my trip out west. I'll post some when I can, there on Jasons computer:)

Remember 8 weeks till chrissy....

And only days till Halloween, I bought some great paper etc today, can't wait to scrap.

Ayers Rock!!!!

We will be off very shortly for our camping trip to Ayers Rock, I'm looking forward to it, just to get away will be great, I'm sure I'll adapt to the lack of flushing loos. I'm looking forward to taking many photos, and perhaps capturing that perfect shot whilst out there.

Busy Lives

How fast is this year going.... We're off on our much deserved holiday soon, lots of things to organise and do before we go. I'll update later about this.

Had to share, my sons weird obsession, there is a few of them, I've spoken before how he's a nose picker and then feast on it, yuk I know.

Well both boys don't like butter or marg on there sandwich, and that to me is abit weird.

Today I made Coop a ham sandwich, he saw the butter and kindly instructed me he did not want that (butter) so when making it I put some on, he found me out and rejected that sandwich.

Wouldn't the sandwich seem abit dry.

A day in the LiFe

I've just been on Ali Edwards site, she has given instructions on how to do overlays on your photos. This is my attempt, quite like it, might do a little mini album one day.

This is cooper in his cute little dressing down from pumpkin patch he only loves it because it has a puppy on it, and he loves wearing the hood. It's only when he is super cold that he allows me to put it on him.

On my other post I had big ideas for a photo over the holidays but that didn't happen, kids, sickness etc. Maybe when i have time i'll do it.

My Jayden

What a great young man he's turning out to be. He's not to well at the moment, he has the flu and temps, I've been laying in my bed with him. He really is a great son, I'm so proud of him. Coop can't say his name he rattles off all our names mummy deane daddy deane, cayla deane and when you keep asking him who's this his only answer is "him deane". When he wants Jayden he normally says "him". Hope he starts feeling better so he can enjoy the holidays.
